Why Alpha Millennial Health

The healthcare ecosystem is shifting. Are you moving with it?

You need clarity about what comes next, what it requires, and how to execute. You need something more valuable than isolated technical advice: the ability to see how one decision affects the organization, research, product, market, and path forward.

Our Four Components identify gaps, challenge the assumptions, connect the right expertise, and help leaders build what their work actually requires - before it becomes costly.

Hi, I’m Lisa Marceau.

I started Alpha Millennial Health because there are gaps in healthcare that need to be filled; and because even the strongest ideas can stall between funding, strategy, execution, and market adoption.

After a career in research, product development, operations, and senior healthcare leadership, I built Alpha Millennial Health to work with executives and founders at exactly this inflection point: you have funding, evidence, market traction, or new market direction. Now you need to make the right decisions - and move.

Healthcare does not reward speed without rigor. But moving too cautiously can be just as costly.

The challenge is knowing where to move quickly, where to be deliberate, and what needs to be built now to support what comes next.

Defining Challenges

My perspective comes from working across the healthcare continuum.

My career began in Washington, DC, writing multimillion-dollar federal grants supporting OSHA and Superfund programs. In Boston, I worked at a major hospital in their maternal-fetal medicine practice that cared for some of the most complex pregnancies. I moved into health research to understand what works and why, ultimately leading a $40 million research organization and working across federally funded research, clinical studies, and evidence generation.

But evidence alone does not change healthcare.

That realization took my career into product development, health tech, and enterprise healthcare including M&A and organizational transformation. Much of this work focused on translating research and clinical needs into products and strategies that operate in the real world. I have worked across health systems, health plans, government, academia, technology, startups, and industry, giving me a perspective that is difficult to gain from any one part of healthcare.

Alpha Millennial Health brings those pieces together...

…to translate innovation to action.

I work with leaders who are building something consequential and need to turn funding into a company capable of delivering it. We look across the organization - people, infrastructure, market, and financial strategy - to identify what is needed now, what can wait, and where the greatest risks and opportunities are.

That can mean building the right team before adding titles. Creating operational infrastructure before complexity overwhelms it. Pressure-testing the market to know your true buyer. Aligning product decisions with customer needs. Or creating a funding and commercialization strategy that supports the next stage rather than just the next milestone.

The goal is not to move fast for the sake of moving fast. It is to move deliberately, decisively, and with enough experience around the table to know the difference.

I have spent my career at the intersection of evidence, healthcare, technology, operations, and commercialization. I have built and scaled companies. I understand the opportunity executives see and the responsibility that comes with deciding what happens next.

Alpha Millennial Health helps healthcare leaders turn funding into focused execution - and execution into sustainable growth.

The Alpha Millennial Health Approach

Two things have stuck with me throughout my career.

Success is defined by collaboration. Differentiation drives success, not just in our product, but in our teams. Listening and respecting different voices and perspectives is critical. Trusting our team to execute is also.

Moving fast in the wrong direction costs everyone. Too often, businesses fixate on an outcome and miss the critical signals that could shift direction, reveal obstacles, or address risks before they become costly.

Let’s connect.
