I never intended to write a book. And honestly, the idea seemed a little daunting. I wrote, but books seemed like something ‘different’. Yet, here I am in a place I never really considered, writing a book that will be coming out early next year.

Just as I was about to sit down and write about the impact of erasing women from health data, I read a LinkedIn post where someone shared a headline and link that the layoffs have begun at HHS…the same headline that was on every news station regardless of where one sits on the political continuum.

There’s something powerful about women in leadership. The data speaks volumes: women add substantial value to the GDP, women founders are statistically more successful, and women CEOs foster collaboration, resulting in measurable outcomes. Women are not only breadwinners but also the primary purchasers and caregivers.
